Adura, the younger brother of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, was abducted on Wednesday afternoon by unidentified armed men, suspected to be police officers, outside the Magistrates’ Court in Ogba, Lagos.

His mother, Abosede Aloba, has called for urgent assistance, expressing distress over the incident.

According to SaharaReporters, Adura was taken away after appearing in court for a case involving a phone he sold to Damola Ayinde.

The case allegedly implicated actor Yomi Fabiyi, Ayinde, and others, with Adura claiming that his TikTok account was hacked through the device to damage his reputation.

A family source disclosed, “Damola had tried to misuse the phone’s social media account, which he failed to log out of, in an attempt to extort Yomi Fabiyi.

“A forensic examination of the phone has been conducted, and the court is continuing its investigation.

“However, following today’s proceedings, Adura alongside two others were apprehended by unknown individuals who are believed to be police officers.

“Meanwhile, Mohbad’s mother is unaware of her son’s current location and pleads for the public’s help, urging Nigerians to come to her aid.”

A video obtained by SaharaReporters showed Mohbad’s mother weeping in a vehicle, lamenting that she had no idea where her son was being taken.

Speaking in Yoruba, she accused Yomi Fabiyi and one Sam Jojo of orchestrating the abduction, stating that Adura is unwell.

She said, “Please help me, people of God! It’s Yomi Fabiyi. They’ve taken my son, and I don’t know where they’re taking him.

“It’s Yomi Fabiyi and Sam Jojo who took him. My son did nothing to them. Dear Nigerians, please stand by me.

“They must not lay a hand on my son. They must not beat him — he is sick.

“The real culprit has already confessed and admitted to doing it. They’ve been begging me since this morning, even his lawyer pleaded with me. But I told them the matter is already in court — there’s nothing I can do.

“Demola, you’ve put me in trouble. Mohbad’s spirit will fight you.”

Adura had previously demanded a public apology from Fabiyi, Ayinde, and others, accusing them of hacking his TikTok account to tarnish his reputation. He also vowed to take legal action against them.

Additionally, it was reported that Adura filed a N1 billion lawsuit against Fabiyi over allegations of evidence tampering and fraudulent actions that implicated him.

Efforts to get a response from Fabiyi were unsuccessful as he did not answer calls or respond to messages.
