Mohbad’s Death: VDM Unravels Cover-Up in Singer’s Son DNA Controversy
Social media critic, Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has alleged a cover-up in the lingering controversy over the DNA test of the late singer Mohbad’s son, Liam, accusing some celebrities and influencers of manipulating the narrative surrounding the case.
In a series of posts on Tuesday, VDM claimed that certain figures who led the #JusticeForMohbad campaign, including actress Iyabo Ojo and music promoter Samklef, were involved in schemes to control public perception about Mohbad’s death and the paternity dispute.
He also called out popular influencers, including Pooja and Mbah, for circulating unverified claims that the DNA test had confirmed Mohbad as Liam’s father, insisting that such reports were part of a coordinated attempt to mislead the public.
Thw activist further demanded the release of all forensic evidence linked to the case, including autopsy details and digital records from those present with Mohbad before his death.
The late singer’s father, Joseph Aloba, has insisted on a DNA test to confirm Liam’s paternity, while Mohbad’s widow, Wunmi, has maintained she will only submit to a court-supervised test in a recognised facility.
