Mom Stabs 11-Year-Old Daughter, Sets House On Fire
39-year-old Taheerah Ahmad is currently on the loose after she bound and gagged her three daughters, stabbed the eldest repeatedly and set their house on fire before abducting one of her children.
The Tulsa Police Department has issued an Amber Alert for the missing 7-year-old on Monday and they believe she may be in danger.
Law enforcement report that the mother, duct tape and gagged her 3 children, before stabbing her 11-year-old daughter and setting her house on fire. The 11-year-old is in critical condition at a hospital in Tulsa.
Tulsa Police Officer Jeanne MacKenzie says the 7-year-old girl, Hafsa Hayle, helped her 9-year-old sister escape, and the 9-year-old ran to a nearby house for help. MacKenzie said that when authorities arrived at the 500 block of Mohawk Blvd. in Tulsa around 8pm, they found an 11-year-old girl in critical condition with stab wounds and the house on fire. Ahmad and Hafsa were nowhere to be found.
“The 9-year-old sibling of the 11-year-old stated that earlier in the evening, that the mother had duct taped their hands, put socks in their mouths, and then began stabbing the 11-year-old,” said Jeannie McKenzie of the Tulsa Police.
Police believe Ahmad fled with the youngest girl. According to police, the family have listed several places where Ahmad and her daughter may be, ranging from Bixby to Edmond.
