Mother, Daughter Docked Over Assault

A 58-year old woman, Oladapo Victoria and her daughter Oladapo Iyanuoluwa 24 have been arraigned before an Osogbo magistrate court for alleged assault.

The Suspects were arraigned on three count charges bothering on assault.

The charge sheet read in court revealed that the suspects conspired together to commit felony to wit assault by beaten one Mr Clement Sunday, torn his cloth and damaged a trouser, a Samsung 56 S6 edge phone golden colour all valued N55,000.

The charge sheet disclosed that the accused thereby committed an offence Contrary to and punishable under sections 516, 315 and 415 of the criminal code cap 34 Vol.II  laws of Osun state Nigeria 2003.

According to the charge sheet the accused committed the offence on September 29, 2018, at Yekini Aka Street Dada estate Osogbo.

The accused pleaded not guilty to the charges preferred against them.

The defence counsel Adedoyin Ajewola urged the court to grant the accused persons bail in most liberal term.

The Presiding Magistrate O T Badmus granted the suspects bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety.

The case was adjourned to November 27, 2018 for hearing.
