Mr/Miss Nigeria: Ohaja Chibunna, Giwa Greatness Emerge Winners

The 13th edition of the prestigious Mr. and Miss Nigeria International Pageant 2024, held in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, from October 10-20, 2024, has crowned its new kings and queens.

Ohaja Joseph Chibunna from Abia State emerged as Mr. Nigeria International 2024, while Giwa Steve Greatness from Ondo State was crowned Miss Nigeria International 2024.

In the male category, Eric Boyi Edwin (Taraba State) secured the second position as Mr. Nigeria International Global, and Emmanuel Oku (Cross River State) claimed third position as Mr. Nigeria International Tourism.

In the female category, Omolara Olita (Ogun State) came second as Miss Nigeria International Global, Yunana Promise (Taraba State) came third as Miss Nigeria International Tourism, and Precious Chidiebube (Abia State) clinched fourth position as Miss Nigeria International Culture.

The winners will serve as ambassadors for various causes and platforms promoting Nigerian culture, tourism, and global representation, and will also compete in international pageants.

According to Ambassador Brendan Nsikak, CEO of Brendance and Crusader Limited, the event’s success was due to the support of the Akwa Ibom State government and sponsors, aligning with Governor Pastor Umoh Eno’s ARISE Agenda.

“The success of the event would not have been possible without the invaluable support of the Akwa Ibom State government, whose unwavering commitment and hospitality helped make the event a resounding success.

“We are deeply grateful for their partnership and their alignment with the pageant’s vision of promoting Nigerian culture and youth empowerment, in line with the ARISE Agenda of Governor Pastor Umoh Eno.

“We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to all our esteemed sponsors and partners, whose contributions were instrumental in creating a truly memorable and world-class event. Their generosity and support have not only elevated the stature of the pageant but have also reinforced the importance of collaboration in bringing Nigerian talent to the global stage.”
