A late-night collision between two government-owned Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) vehicles in Lagos State has resulted in multiple injuries among passengers.

The Head of Public Affairs at the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Nosa Okunbor, said the accident happened when one BRT bus attempted to avoid hitting a commercial motorcyclist who was illegally using the BRT corridor.

“Fortunately, no lives were lost in the incident, thanks to the swift response of emergency services.

“The injured passengers were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment before the response team arrived.
