Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen, has denied media reports that his Abuja home has been raided by EFCC operatives.
Reports went viral yesterday 15th January that the home of the Chief Justice had been surrounded by EFCC officials.
Reacting to the report, the Senior Special Adviser to the CJN on media, Awassam Bassey, described the reports as fake news. Speaking to newsmen who besieged Onnoghen’s home, Bassey said.
“I really don’t know where they got the information from. So many media men were here earlier with cameras over the same report. But what I can tell you for now is that there was no such thing. It is false news”.
This comes after EFCC has also denied the reports.
