N-Power: Osun Volunteers Storm Army School For Collection Of Teaching Device

Volunteers of the Federal Government Social Scheme called ‘N-Power’ were on Saturday besieged the Command Day Secondary School, Army Barracks Ede, State of Osun for collection of  teaching Tablet which the scheme provided for them.

 

Volunteers in their scores were waiting steadfastly taking turns for the collection exercise.

 

OSUN DEFENDER reliably gathered that the collection exercise was extended to Sunday at the same venue.

 

It was learnt that some volunteers hasn’t collect their Gadget while many others invited through text messages have not been attended to.

In a chat with one of the volunteers, Mrs. Jumonke Taiwo, she disclosed to OSUN DEFENDER that many of her colleagues has collected their gadgets but I have not been given.

 

She said, ” I have been notify through a text message from the scheme that my gadget is ready for collection in which time and place was specify but when I got their on the appointed day (Sunday) a lot of volunteers were at the collection center.

“Those of us that were not attended on Sunday were rescheduled for another day which they promised to communicate.”

 

However, a statement that was ascribed to Publicity Secretary of N-power Touring Team, Ilesa East, revealed that Volunteers yet to collect or contacted should be patient as arrangements are in top gear for them to collect theirs at designated MTN Centers in Osun before the week runs out.

 

The Statement noted that, “We have enough devices that would go round the 10,040 N-Power Volunteers in Osun.

 

The statement further appreciate the State of Osun governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola for supporting the scheme and a very good job done by the scheme’s Focal person who doubled as Commissioner for Federal Matters in Osun, Hon.  Idiat Babalola.
