Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim, the councillor of Faga/Alasan Council of Tambuwal Local Government Area of Sokoto state, has donated pharmaceuticals worth over N2million to his constituents.
The drugs which were handed over to the various communities on Monday included anti-malarial, anti-biotics, among others.
Ibrahim said that “the gesture was aimed at complementing the efforts of the federal and state governments.
“The drugs would be distributed free to the residents of the various communities in the ward, especially women and children.
“I am therefore appealing for the judicious use of the drugs and I intend to sustain the tempo.
“As it is always said, health is wealth, and it is only a healthy society that can be productive.”
