Nabeeha’s Sisters Regain Freedom From Kidnappers (Video)

The Al-Kadriyar family, residents of the Bwari area in Abuja, underwent a momentous event when five out of six kidnapped sisters were liberated on Saturday night.

The circumstances surrounding their release remain shrouded in uncertainty, with no confirmation whether it resulted from a successful security operation or a ransom payment.

Kabiru Aminu, the girls’ uncle, joyfully announced their return through a celebratory video shared on his social media handle @kabiru_aminu.

Capturing the emotional reunion, the footage provided a glimmer of hope in the aftermath of a distressing period.

In expressing his joy, Aminu used the hashtag “#Najeebahandhersisters are home right now, someone please wake me up!” and commended their strength in another post.

It’s crucial to recall that the sisters, along with their father, fell prey to an abduction, sparking widespread concern.

Initially releasing their father, the abductors subsequently demanded a substantial ransom of N60 million for the release of the daughters.

Despite concerted efforts to gather funds, including public appeals for donations, the required sum remained unmet.

In a tragic turn of events, the bandits executed the eldest sister, Najeebah, plunging her family into despair.

Responding to this tragedy, the police have reinforced their commitment to ensuring the safe return of the victims and preventing future kidnapping incidents nationwide.

The return of the five sisters signifies a bittersweet moment for the Al-Kadriyar family as they grapple with relief for the rescued and grief for the lost.
