An agreement has been reached by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and celebrity barman Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, to resolve the naira abuse charge outside of court.
According to The Nation, the out-of-court settlement was disclosed when the proceedings resumed on Thursday.
Osun Defender reports that Cubana is facing three counts related to abusing the national currency at a social gathering.

Cubana Chief Priest appeared before Justice Kehinde Ogundare on Thursday.
These actions are in violation of the Central Bank Act of 2007.
Many Nigerians had felt the celebrity barman would also be given the treatment, meted out to Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, who was handed a six-month jail sentence last month, over the same offence, with the option of a fine.
