Nasarawa Youths Protest Relocation Of NCDC Headquarters To Niger
The Nasarawa State chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) has protested the proposed relocation of the headquarters of the North-Central Development Commission (NCDC) from Nasarawa State to Niger State.
The protest follows the amendment of the NCDC establishment bill, which is currently under negotiation in the National Assembly.
The State Chairman of NYCN, Solomon John along with Secretary Ibrahim Abdullahi-Attama air jordan 4 military blue 2024, on Monday, voiced strong opposition to the proposed move, emphasizing that Nasarawa is strategically located to serve as a unifying hub for the North-Central region.
They called on the National Assembly to reconsider the decision, warning that failing to do so could destabilize the region.
