Native Doctor Testing Bulletproof Charm Shoots Client Dead

A native doctor, Timothy Dauda (19), has been arrested over the alleged killing of one Alex Ezekiel while testing the efficacy of a charm in Onumu8km community in Akoko-Edo LGA of Edo State.

He was nabbed by operatives of the state Police Command.

It was learnt that the suspect specialises in preparing charms for people against guns and cutlasses.

The command’s spokesman, Moses Yamu, who confirmed the incident said, “The suspect claimed to be a native doctor and specialises in preparing charms against guns and cutlasses.”

He said that one Alex Ezekiel, now deceased, went to the “native doctor” to get the charms prepared for him and that after preparing the charms, the native doctor tried to test the efficacy of the charm by shooting him with a gun.

“But unfortunately, the victim sustained injuries and was rushed to the Ifejola Hospital in Igarra where he was confirmed dead by a medical doctor.”
