Even if you don’t remember Star Lager and Amstel Malta, I think people are left to see and appreciate the fact that this is a big investment the company is making to support the development of football and sports generally, as well as the great teams that are already doing well’’

“We will invest more and we will keep investing because we know every naira counts. We believe our investment will serve as an inspiration to others. We hope that many more companies will come to support sports development.”

The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, NB, Mr. Jordi Borrut Bel, said the company was proud to identify with Nigerians’ passion for football.

“We are delighted to be partnering the Nigeria Football Federation to celebrate this true passion that is fueled by patriotism, resilience and desire for victory, through the platform of football,” he said.

The NFF president, Mr. Amaju Pinnick, in his remarks on the agreement, said, “This strategic partnership is very significant, not only because of what the NFF and the national football teams stand to gain, but also because of what is in it for the fans and supporters of Nigerian football.
