No fewer than 200 youths have been trained in skill acquisition by the Nigeria Bottling Company, in partnership with West Africa Vocational Education and SEAD AFRICA.
According to the company, the training, which is to facilitate empowerment and poverty eradication for the young ones is targeted towards 200 youths.
Speaking on the Essentials of Entrepreneurship and how to generate Business Ideas, one of the the facilitators, Mr Dayo Oderinu, spoke on the qualities of good business ideas and expatiated on the need to get one’s branding right and make food and consistent use of social media for effective marketing.
Another speaker at the event, itemised some key points on effective communication with the acronym LUSC that is Listen, Understand, Speak and Confirm. He further stated that ‘confidence’ is key to effective communication.
The team lead of SEAD AFRICA, Mr Semih Adabanija, stated that this is the second phase of the training of youths as some have been incorporated into several fields and are being carefully monitored.
