NDLEA Nabs Ex-Convict Smuggling Meth Hidden in Loudspeakers
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested a former convict who previously served jail time in an Asian country for drug trafficking, over a fresh attempt to smuggle crystal methamphetamine concealed in loudspeakers.
The agency disclosed this in a statement shared on Sunday by its Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, via his official X (formerly Twitter) handle.
Sharing a video of the seized items, the NDLEA wrote, “Narco-trend update: From being convicted and jailed in Asia for drug offences to being a trans-border trafficker back home.
“This is the story of the brain behind the concealment in this video as uncovered by #ndlea_nigeria officers. What a recidivist!”
