NELFUND Disburses Over N2billion To UNIOSUN Students
The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has announced the successful disbursement of institutional loans to students of Osun State University (UNIOSUN) and Kashim Ibrahim University (KIU) for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.
In an announcement on its official X account on Wednesday, NELFUND said a combined total of ₦2,109,980,200 has been disbursed to support 7,382 UNIOSUN and KIU students across multiple batches.
NELFUND explained that ₦2,038,534,000 was disbursed to 5,924 beneficiaries across six batches in UNIOSUN.
It said ₦47,638,900 was disbursed to 955 KIU students in the fifth batch while the sixth batch saw ₦23,807,300 being disbursed to 503 students, making a total amount of ₦71,446,200 to 1,458 students in the institution.
This milestone, NELFUND said, reflects its unwavering commitment to expanding access to higher education across Nigeria and ensuring that no eligible student is left behind due to financial constraints.
