Netizens Slam Omisore For Beating Osun APC Supporters With Broom
Netizens have called out a former National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Senator Iyiola Omisore, for flogging supporters of the APC with a broom.
In a video obtained by OSUN DEFENDER, Omisore was seen using a broom on some of the supporters who came to join him in his official declaration as a gubernatorial aspirant under the APC for the August 08, 2026 election in Osun State.
Even though what transpired was not known, people who reacted to the video blamed the former deputy governor for his action.
Commenting on the video, a Facebook user, Fatai Mustapha, questioned the kind of leadership Omisore would provide if he eventually emerged as the governor of the state.
He said, “See Governor. Who will vote for this, and what kind of leadership is this?
No, having patients for their so-called followers/ party members.”
Another Facebook user, Eagle Eye Abbey, wrote, “How could the celebrant be beating those imported guests at his declaration centre? People should be cautious in whatever we do in this age of social media. We need prayers.”
