Some of the President Bola Tinubu’s Ministers appointed to head new ministries may be forced to share same buildings and directors, OSUN DEFENDER gathered.
However, some of the new ministries were created from the existing ones.
Former governor Adeggboyega Oyetola’s Ministry, Marine and Blue Economy was was created from the Ministry of Transportation headed by Said Alkali.
But, the two ministers resumed office on a different days.
According to sources at the Ministry, the reason both Oyetola and Alkali resumed on different days may not be unconnected with the fact that the two ministers may have to share same set of directors and permanent secretary before a full structure comes up.
OSUN DEFENDER learnt that when some of the directors introduces themselves to Oyetola, they did not know whether they should introduce themselves as directors under the Ministry of Transportation or Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy.

Also, the Minister of Solid Minerals, Dele Alake and the Minister of Steel Development, Shuaibu Audu will continue to work with same set of civil servants until proper restructuring.
Furthermore, three Ministers visited the former Ministry of Information and Culture at the same time on Monday and addressed journalists together.
Three new ministries has been created from the former Ministry of Information and Culture. They include , Ministry of Information and National Orientation, led by Muhammed Idris; the Ministry of Arts, Culture and Creative Economy, led by Hannatu Musawa; and the Ministry of Tourism, headed by Lola Ade-John.
It was also learnt that civil servants in the Ministry were still in confused about which minister to report to among the three as of yesterday.
According to sources at the Ministry, It was said that there were department that could be connected to a particular ministry. It was also gathered that the new ministries would need directors made for their needs.
