The President of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Ibrahim Gusau has tasked the Super Eagles to go all out for a win against Costa Rica.
The Super Eagles will take on the North Americans in a friendly on Thursday at the National Stadium, San Jose.
It will be the first-ever meeting between both countries at the senior level.
Costa Rica, who are among the 32 countries that will compete at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar will use the game as part of their preparations for the global soccer fiesta.
“It is pertinent for you to note that Nigerians are result-oriented and they want the team to always have a good outing in every match, friendly or competitive,” Gusau was quoted by thenff.com.
“It is a friendly game but at the same time, we want to win.”
The game will kick-off at 8 pm local time on Wednesday (3 am Thursday in Nigeria).
