NIA DG, Ahmed Abubakar, Resigns (Video)

The Director General of the Nigeria Intelligence Agency, Ahmed Abubakar, has reportedly submitted his resignation letter to President Tinubu.

According to the Nigerian Television Authority, Abubakar submitted the letter to the President on Saturday.

In an interview with NTA, Abubakar said some of the reasons for his resignation are personal and family related.

He appreciated the President for giving him the opportunity to serve and contribute his quota to the security of the country.
