Nick Imudia, Ex-Konga CEO Commits Suicide

Nick Imudia, a former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Konga, one of Nigeria’s leading e-commerce companies, has committed suicide.

Imudia, who served as the CEO of D.light, a prominent innovator in residential solar energy solutions and household products, took his own life on the night of Tuesday, June 25, by jumping from the balcony of his apartment in Lekki, Lagos.

According to reports, before jumping, Imudia called his brother in the US to provide instructions on distributing his wealth if anything were to happen to him.

He also called his young daughter from a previous relationship, telling her he would always be there for her and that she just needed to look at the sky to see him.

Puzzled by the development, friends, family, and associates are currently in shocked as to motive behind his suicide. No one knows why he took his own life.

Imudia, originally from the lka South local government area of Delta State, was once married to the mother of his young daughter, who also came from the same area. Their marriage ended due to irreconcilable differences.
