Some youths stormed the streets of Abuja protesting in the early hours of Friday as they demand the resignation of President Muhammadu Buhari.
The protest coincided with the nation’s 61st Independence Anniversary.
Armed with large a banner and placards, the youths were chanting anti-Buhari songs. They also made bonfires on the highway.
However, moments after the protest started, heavily armed policemen came to disperse the protesters.
