Nigerian Correctional Service Promotes 267 Officers In Osun
No fewer than 267 officers of the Nigerian Correctional Service were on Tuesday promoted to various ranks in Osun State, during a formal ceremony at the Command Headquarters in Osogbo.
In his address, the Controller of Corrections, Osun State Command, Rotimi Oluwadele expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo and the Controller-General of the Nigerian Correctional Service, Sylvester Ndidi Nwakuche for their leadership acumen, reform initiatives and commitment to staff welfare and career progression.
In a press release by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Joel Oyedokun, Oluwadele charged the newly promoted officers to see their elevation as a call to greater responsibility, professionalism and renewed dedication to duty.
He urged the newly promoted staff to justify the confidence reposed in them.
