A Nigerian student at the Cyprus International University, Tiombe David Afeah, has died in Cyprus.
According to reports, Tiombe was residing in a rented apartment close to his school.
On Friday January 11th, his landlord came knocking for his house rent and out of fear that he couldn’t fulfill his payment after owing for so many months, Tiombe decided to scale his balcony with the hope of hiding somewhere nearby until his landlord leaves.
Sadly, he jumped and hit his head on the floor. He suffered a brain injury and was in the hospital until Wednesday, January 16th when he died.
