Nigerians Knock EFCC Boss As He Prays For Members Prosperity
Nigerians on social media have knocked the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ola Olukoyode, after a video of him praying for members’ prosperity went viral.
In the video, Olukoyode, who is also a pastor at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, can be seen prophesying and praying for members to experience prosperity in the new month.
The prayer, which has sparked mixed reactions online, includes statements like: “In this new month, you will not weep the weeping of defeat… The one who defended Joseph will defend you this month… The God of Isaac, Jacob, and Abraham will make a way for you and provide your needs.”
However, some social media users took to the platform to express their skepticism, questioning the sincerity of the EFCC boss’s prayer. Here are some of their reactions:

@kayboss: “Once they prosper, you send your boys after them. Is this prayer just a cover for your real intentions?”
EFCCWatcher: “Praying for prosperity while chasing after people for alleged financial crimes? Something doesn’t add up.”
@NigeriaNeedsChange: “We need leaders who practice what they preach. Let’s see if the EFCC boss’s actions match his words.”
@FaithfulOne: “Let’s take him at his word and pray that he truly means well for the people.”
@SkepticalSam: “Prosperity? For those who have been accused of financial crimes? This prayer sounds like a contradiction.”
