Nigerians Top List Of Worst Of Worst African Criminals Awaiting Deportation From U.S.

Nigerians have topped the list of Worst of the Worst criminals from  African countries to be deported from the United States of America.

Checks on U.S. Department of Homeland Security website on Wednesday showed that the number of Nigerians arrested for different crimes and awaiting deportation had risen to 125.

Somalia ranks second with 95 citizens among U.S. Worst of the Worst criminals from Africa to be deported from America, while Ghana ranks third with 32 of its nationals billed for deportation after serving their sentences.

Publishing photos, names and the crimes for which they were foreign  nationals were prosecuted and would be deported, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security said it “is highlighting the worst of worst criminal aliens arrested by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

“Under DHS leadership, the hardworking men and women of DHS and ICE are fulfilling President Trump’s promise and carrying out mass deportations – starting with the worst of the worst – including the illegal aliens you see here.”

In February, the number of Nigerians to be deported from the U.S. for various crimes, ranging from sexual offences, romance  scam to wire fraud stood at 97.

The list included Forbes celebrated criminal Invictus Obi.

The latest update shows an increase in the number of  Nigerians scheduled for deportation from the U.S.

Also, data exclusively obtained from U.S. Federal Bureau of Prisons showed that 287 Nigerians are languishing in U.S. federal prisons as of May 9.

According to the data, Sixty-one Nigerians are in prison for buglary/larceny. Twenty-six were imprisoned for drugs-related offences, five for illegal possession of weapons and explosives and five serving time for sex offences.
