The nine students abducted along the East-West Road in Ughelli, Delta State, on Monday have been released.
This was confirmed by the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Edafe Bright.
The students were said to be travelling in a minibus before the incident with their abductors said to have demanded N10m.
They were freed barely 24 hours after the abduction.
Bright wrote on his X handle late Monday night: “All nine of the victims have regained their freedom pls.”
