NNPP Is Dead In Osun, Senatorial Candidates Insist
Four NNPP senatorial election candidates in the state of Osun have revealed some of the reasons why they decided not to support the presidential candidate of NNPP. Clement Bamigbola, Osun Central Senatorial, Bolaji Akinyode, Osun West Senatorial, Olalekan Fabayo, and Oluwaseyi Ajayi of Boluwaduro/Ifedayo/Ila, and Ijesa South Federal Constituencies told newsmen that their decision to start supporting Tinubu was because NNPP is dead in the State.
According to the aggrieved senatorial candidates of NNPP, their support for Tinubu was based on the fact that NNPP is about to collapse in Osun. Furthermore, the aggrieved senatorial candidates expressed their dissatisfaction with the way the acting national chairman of the party addressed them. They alleged that the acting national chairman of the party described them as irrelevant members of the party.
They stated that the statement of the acting national chairman of NNPP is an indication that he knows nothing about politics. They concluded to state that their support for Tinubu is as a result of the lack of transparency in the affairs of NNPP at national level.
