Presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, also known as Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo, has declared that no amount of money, including $1 billion, can persuade him to venture into partisan politics.

Oyedepo made the statement while speaking during the impartation service of the church’s annual convocation, Shiloh 2025, according to Vanguard.

He told members that politics falls outside his divine calling, urging them to remain focused on their God-given assignments as the surest path to influence and relevance.

The cleric recalled warning the church in 2015 about looming challenges, noting that events had since proven his message correct.

He stated that partisan politics is completely off his course, stressing that even a $1 billion offer would not change his stance.

Oyedepo further spoke on what he described as the urgency of the present times, saying the world is in desperate need of divine intervention.

Referencing Romans 8:19, he said the world is groaning in darkness and waiting for the manifestation of the children of God.

He added that an end-time army of God is emerging to provide solutions to national crises, likening the moment to the era of biblical figures such as Joseph and Daniel.

The bishop encouraged believers to remain steadfast in their callings, saying it is within their areas of divine assignment that they can rule their world and positively influence their communities and nations.
