No Intention To Legalise LGBTQ – FG

Following the rumours surrounding the EU-Samoa agreement, the Federal Government has reiterated its stance on the legalisation of LGBTQ saying it has no intention to legalise homosexualism.

This was disclosed by the Minister of budget and national planning, Atiku Bagudu during the Ministerial press briefing organised by the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation in Abuja on Saturday.

Bagudu disclosed that the essence of the new partnership was to contribute to the attainment of sustainable development in all OACPS countries.

He said: “Enlighting the formal process or negotiating on the sidelines of the 75 UN general assembly.

“The essence of the new partnerships was to contribute to the attainment of sustainable development in all OACPS countries.

“The following thematic area constituted the pillars of the negotiations, human rights, democracy and governance in people Centred right based societies, peace and security, human and social development, environmental sustainability and climate change, inclusive sustainable economic growth and development, migration and mobility.”
