Renowned Nollywood actor, John Okafor, popularly known as Mr. Ibu, has been laid to rest on Friday in his hometown of Amuri, in the Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State.
Osun Defender reports that the veteran actor passed away on 2nd March 2024 at the age of 62 after a prolonged battle with illness.
It was learnt that the actor was bid a tearful farewell as mourners gathered to pay their last respects to a man who brought joy and laughter to countless fans through his memorable performances on screen.
