In its bid to improve the health standard of the people of Obokun East Local Council Development Area, the council chairman, Hon. Olalekan Omole has laid the foundation for staff quarters for Primary Health staffers at Ilare-Ijesha.
Laying the foundation, the Chairman called for further support and cooperation of workers in the LCDA, adding that the achievements recorded within the short period of his administration was made possible with God and cooperation of the people of the council Area.
While speaking, the speaker of the parliament, Hon. Oyewole Oyebamiji and his deputy, Hon. Ajiboye Hazzan eulogised the charismatic quality of the Chairman, and praised him for the approval of the grading of roads which cut across the council area and his efforts at bringing sound health care to the grassroot.
The Chairman reiterated his commitment to improve the welfare of workers and the electorate saying to whom much is given, much is expected.
Meanwhile, the administration also provided furniture for members of the parliament in other to make their office more conducive and comfortable for them.
The Council Manager, Mr.Wasiu Ayoola saluted the political will of the council boss and pledged the continuous support of workers to the administration.
