The remains of popular human rights activists and politician, Comrade Yinka Odumakin has arrived his home state, Osun.
His corpse was received by a delegation of the State of Osun Government, led by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Dr Charles Akinola.
It was received at Asejire river, a boundary between Osun and Oyo State.
The corpse which was accompanied by over a hundred-vehicle-convoy was taken to Odumakin’s house at Aliz area, Moro in Ife North Local Government Area of the State.
The corpse was later taken to a morgue at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
Odumakin’s corpse will be interred tomorrow at his home.
Civil Society leaders in the State of Osun, among who are Comrade Waheed Lawal, Amitolu Shitu, Wale Adebisi, among others, were present to pay last respect for the departed activist.
