Odumeje Declares Presidential Ambition, Picks Running Mate from North
Controversial clergyman and entertainer, Prophet Chukwuemeka Cyril Ohanaemere, popularly known as Odumeje, has declared his intention to run for the presidency in the forthcoming general elections.
The self-styled ‘Indaboski Bahose’ made the announcement during a service at his church in Onitsha, Anambra State, drawing cheers from his congregation.
Odumeje stated that his decision to join the presidential race stems from a divine mandate to “liberate Nigeria with powers and wonders.”
He said, “I am the lion, the liquid metal, the war. I have been sent to lead this nation out of bondage. I will be the next president of Nigeria.”

He further revealed that he has chosen his vice-presidential running mate from the Northern region of the country, although he did not disclose the person’s identity.
“I have selected a powerful man from the North. When the time comes, I will unveil him,” he said.
Odumeje is widely known for his unconventional preaching style, dramatic prophecies, and comic charisma, which have earned him both massive followership and widespread criticism.
It remains unclear under which political party the clergyman intends to contest.
