#OgbenGovtAt7: DJ Bassman Scores Aregbesola High On Infrastructural Development
The official DJ to the Governor of the State of Osun, Mr Oluwaseun Ekundayo-Salawu has scored Governor Rauf Aregbesola high over his purposeful leadership style.
He made the commendation on Monday in a statement released to mark the seventh year anniversary of the administration which he described as milestone in the history of the state since its creation.
Ekundayo-Salawu, popularly called by his fans “DJ Bassman” lauded the tremendous development which the state has witnessed in the last seven years of Governor Aregbesola’s government.
The popular radio/television entertainer and musical expert rated the Aregbesola’s administration as one that had achieved beyond the people’s expectations.
He added, “It is not a doubt to say the emergence of Governor Rauf Aregbesola as the Governor of our dear state was purely divine rather than being political in view of the circumstances that surrounded his emergence.
“His leadership is more divine and circumstantial as regards all what God has used him to achieve since assumption of office.
“Unlike the previous administrations, the Aregbesola-led government has given government and governance a new approach to the path of socioeconomic greatness as being reflected in the numerous successes recorded in all aspects of the economy.
“For instance, what we have had as a state capital prior Aregbesola’s administration was more or less a bit civilized Council, but today, we have seen a state capital that can be truly called a state capital.
“We have seen a true state capital that possesses the charsteristics of a state capital. We have equally seen the impacts of the state to expose to the world the potential of every town, city and village across the state in its massive road networks.
“The state has opened up the window of progress for all and sundry in all aspects of human endeavours particularly in road infrastructure, school infrastructure, security infrastructure, health infrastructure among others”, Ekundayo-Salawu stressed.
While acknowledging Mr Governor for giving due recognition to entertainment industry, Bassman said “Aregbesola is among the few Governors and leaders in Nigeria that are committed to the welfare and we’ll being of the entire citizens irrespective of political affiliations.
According to him, the seven years of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has remained a blessing to all particularly some of us that are into entertainment industry.
“This is the only Governor that has dedicated the entire resources of the state to serve the entire populace in the state not minding the view of the disgruntled political interlopers.
“Today, the entertainment industry in Osun has witnessed a drastic change and our industry has received a huge support from the state government”, Bassman stressed.
