Ogunbiyi Celebrates Easter With Osun PDP Faithful, Residents

Dr Akin Ogunbiyi on Monday celebrated Easter with members of the Peoples Democratic Party and Osun State residents.

A press release sent to newsmen by Ismail Afolabi, Ogunbiyi’s Press Secretary, the Easter fiesta was held at Idera de Movement office in Osogbo, the state capital with resounding praises and worships to commemorate Jesus Christ’s resurrection from death.

The all-embracing event featured musical performances, comic renditions as well as prayers for the growth of the state and Nigeria at large.

Ogunbiyi who expressed his heartfelt gratitude to God also thanked stakeholders, guests and the good people of the state for gracing the event and for their priceless love and support.

Speaking briefly on his political moves, he noted “nobody can stand against us because our act and actions are divine.”

“God is with us. Do not be discouraged. Our stand and resolve on the progress of our state remains in tact. If Osun is good, families will be good. So, we will not stop in reaching out to people and impacting lives. Osun must move forward.”

“Some believe in chariots and horses but we trust in the name of the Lord. Don’t be rattled about the struggles on ground, God is at work. When the time of God comes, it cant be hindered.”

He, afterwards, bowed in praises and prayed to God to bestow the abundance of hope and resurrection that Easter represents on the state and Nigeria at large, beyond the season.
