The administration of Hon. Munirudeen Hammed Anisu in Olorunda Local Government, State of Osun, has flagged off the construction of a Model Health Care Centre at Oluode Area, as part of the administration’s drive to improve the healthcare delivery system in the council.
The state Deputy Governor, Otunba Titi Laoye-Tomori laid the foundation for the construction of the health centre, where he commended the effort of the Chairman and by extension the Governor of the state for being visionary leaders in ensuring that healthcare delivery system is improved at the grassroots.
She then charged the people in the council to always support and cooperate with the present administration in other to enjoy landmark achievements.
The Executive Chairman of the council, Hon. Munirudeen Anisu used the occasion to thank God Almighty and Governor Aregbesola for giving him the opportunity to serve the people.
He then appealed to the people in the council to support his administration for easy spread of dividends of democracy to every nook and cranny of the council.
In their separate remarks, the Deputy Leader of the council’s Parliament, Hon. Nurudeen and councillor representing ward 6 of the council, Hon. Waheed Adeleke, expressed their gratitude to God and Governor Aregbesola, as well as the generality of the people in the council area for their support towards the success of the foundation laying.
Present at the occasion were, all the councilors in Olorunda local government; the lawmaker representing Olorunda local government in Osun House of Assembly, Hon. Waseeu Adebayo; Olorunda All Progressives Congress (APC) chairman, Hon. Abiodun Kilanko; Chairman of the APC Elders’ Forum, Pa Lasisi Odebunmi and APC women leader, Mrs Ibraheem Musilimot among others.
