Olorunda North Inaugurates New Cabinet Member

The Executive Secretary, Olorunda North Local Council Development Area, Honourable Quadri   Owonikoko has inaugurated a new caretaker member Engr.  Olayinka Omigbodun. The appointment of Omigbodun followed the creation of Olorunda Area Council in Ilie, which has a former caretaker member of the Olorunda North, Mrs. Felicia Omolaoye as the Executive Secretary, hence creating space for the new caretaker member.

 

According to a statement by the Information Officer of the council, Toyin Adejobi, Owonikoko while congratulating the new member admonished every contestant to be more persevere, loyal and dogmatic to the party. He said the commitment of the new appointee has earned him the opportunity to serve the people.

 

The council boss then congratulated Omolaoye the newly-appointed Executive Secretary of Olorunda Area council and Omigbodun the new member of caretaker committee Olorunda North LCDA, wishing them successful tenure of office.

 

Meanwhile, the All Progressive Congress (APC) Chairman, Olorunda North LCDA, Alhaji Ahmed Bolarinwa commended Governor Rauf Aregbesola for creating possibilities out of impossibility through the creation of new councils, inspite the lingering financial crisis in the state.

 

He implored every party member to endure for success of the party rather than agitating for their personal benefits, saying by so doing, the dividend of democracy will be circulated to all.

 

A former member of Osun House of Assembly, Honourable Laide Ajibola urged the caretaker members of the council to be lover of their staffers. He also commended them for the giant stride they took to ensure they have their permanent Secretariat despite the dwindling allocation, urging them to do more.

 

The Chairman, Community Development Council, Olorunda North LCDA, Alhaji Miftau Oladapo implored the contestants under the platform of APC party to be lover of peace, saying peace always brings about speedy development.
