Oloyan Congratulates New OAU VC, Bamire
The Oloyan of Oyan, Oba Kelani Adekeye, has congratulated the new Vice-Chancellor of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Prof. Adebayo Simeon Bamire, on his appointment and inauguration as the 12th VC of the university.
Bemire’s inauguration is taking place today at the Oduduwa Hall, OAU Campus.
Oba Adekeye, in a congratulatory message on Tuesday, said he was happy that Bamire, an Oyan indigene, became nike revolution 7 VC in his lifetime.
He described Bamire’s appointment as a reward for hard-work, resilience, integrity and dedication to the university’s progress.
