The Emperor of Iwo Kingdom, Oba (Dr.) AbdulRasheed Adewale Akanbi, Telu I, has organised a special prayer for President Muhammadu Buhari’s health, Governor Rauf Aregbesola and the leaders at all in the state.
A statement personally signed by the monarch urged all people of good intent to rally round the country in this season of economic challenges.
According to the statement, “The Oluwo of Iwo, Oba (Dr.) AbdulRasheed Adewale Akanbi Ilufemiloye, Telu I, is inviting the general public, most especially sons and daughters from Iwo, Ayedire and Ola-Oluwa LGAs to a special prayer for our leaders, the traditional rulers, Governor State of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and President Muhammad Buhari for God to guide them right and quick recovery of our president on Thursday 24th of August 2017 at Oluwo’s Palace by 10 O’Clock in the morning.
“Buses will also be available to convene sons and daughters from all towns in Iwoland to the palace of Oluwo, Oba (Dr.) AbdulRasheed Adewale Akanbi for the Prayer.
