Oluwo Threatens To Arrest Facebook User Over Falsehood, Refutes Calling Olokuku Baale
The Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba Adewale Akanbi, has threatened to arrest a Facebook user, over an alleged falsehood. The monarch, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Alli Ibrahim, one Simeon Abiodun, promoter of a pseudo Facebook page, Mr. Funshy, has been officially reported to the security operatives for spreading falsehood against him. According to the statement, Funshy was alleged to had in Facebook video, claimed that Oluwo reportedly refers to Olokuku as Baale. “His video was not only misleading but also a deliberate attempt to disturb public harmony and cause disunity between the two crowns,” the statement noted. Oluwo added, £I have strong hope in the ability of the Nigerian Police Force and the judiciary to investigate, unravel the truth and ensure necessary action is taken. “For the public record, there was nowhere Oluwo referred to Olokuku as Baale. Mr. Funshy, like some of his likes, are rumour mongers who want to ride on the popularity of Oluwo to improve their monetization status on Facebook by gaining traffic. “His mission has led him to collision. You cannot trade people’s clean images in the mud and expect to go free. He will face the full wrath of law. The axe of the law will hit him, not only for the spreading of lies but also for cyber bullying.”
