Omoluabi Progressives Asks Members To Stay-Off Controversial Osun LG Election
Ahead of Saturday’s controversial local government election in Osun State, members of the Omoluabi Progressives have been asked to stay indoors throughout the day.
OSUN DEFENDER reports that the conduct of the election has been greeted with controversies due to the February 10 Court of Appeal judgement on the October 15, 2022 council election in the state that produced the sacked All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairmen and Councillors.
While the APC Chairmen interpreted the judgement as to returning them to office, members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Osun State Independent Electoral Commisssion have disagreed, noting that the election will hold as planned.
