The Osogbo Local Government chapter of the Omoluabi Progressives Osun, a Caucus of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, was launched on Thursday.
Addressing the party members, the local government coordinator, Hon. Isa Idowu said upholding the virtues of what the Omoluabi ethos stands for is the core mandate of the group.
Explaining the slogan and logo of the caucus to members, Moruf noted that Omoluabi Progressives Osun is neither a faction nor a political party, but a Caucus premised on strengthening the APC in Osun, ahead of future elections.
He urged members to see themselves as one and continue to work towards the progress of the caucus and the party at large.
Also speaking at the event, Comrade Biodun Agboola, praised the party members for their loyalty to Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and urged them to continue in that manner, stressing that the party will continue to wax stronger, with the ongoing efforts.
Other speakers at the event were; Hon Bamidele Kamorudeen (Dekam), Hon. Adelani Fasakin and Baba, Alhaji Jimoh Agboola Ogala, who preached against division in the caucus and party. They unanimously urged party members to embrace and emulate Omoluabi ethoes,
Comrade Agboola thereafter called out the 3 member committee per ward across the 15 wards in Osogbo Local Government for formal inauguration, while Hon Raheem Jamiu conducted the swearing-in.
Other Leaders present are; Hon Busayo Eselebor, Hon. Jasuyi Moses, Hon. Kazeem Ibraheem, Hon. Mallam Kamil Lawanson as well as Mrs. Raheem Kafayat Omowumi.
