Speaking during the visit, Adesiji noted that the Omoluabi Progressives remains committed to building bridges across political platforms to foster unity and chart the developmental aspirations of the people of Osun State.
He added that their visit to the ADC secretariat was in reciprocation of an earlier visit by the ADC executives at the birth of the national coalition ahead of the 2027 general election.

A statement by Abosede Oluwaseun, Organising and Publicity Secretary of Omoluabi Progressives, Abosede Oluwaseun added that the two leaders deliberated on areas of synergy, collaboration and solidarity as the tendency and the existing ADC structure have been collapsed to work ahead of the 2026 gubernatorial election in the state.
In his remarks, Osun State ADC Chairman, Dr. Charles Omidiji lauded the leadership of the tendency for their efforts at restoring true progressive governance into the state.
Omidiji noted that both camps will synergise on ensuring that the people of Osun vote the ADC to power and in-turn enjoy a governance premised on responsible leadership and good governance.
His words, “Today marks a significant and historic moment in our collective journey tow towards reclaiming the dignity and destiny of Osun State. The coming of the Omoluabi Progressive Group, with their wide grassroots network that spans from polling units to the state level, is not just a merger of structures, it is the fusion of ideas, values and patriotic willpower.
“We recognize and appreciate the enormous sacrifice, courage and conviction that brought about this decision. It is a bold step that affirms your unwavering commitment to progressive governance, equity and service delivery for the good people of Osun State.

“This alignment is a strong testimony to the ongoing coalition process, which we believe is the path to rescuing our dear state from years of misrule and political inconsistency. Indeed, it is this coalition spirit that laid the groundwork for your group to find a new home within our great party ADC. And we remain optimistic that many more like-minded progressives will follow suit in the coming days.
“Let me assure you that under our leadership, ADC remains a party rooted in transparency, sincerity of purpose and hard work. We are committed to internal democracy, inclusive participation and the values that put people before politics. Your joining hands with us strengthens our belief that victory is not just possible but inevitable come the 2026 gubernatorial election…
“Together, we will mobilize, strategize and energize our people to ensure that ADC becomes the people’s choice, not just at the ballot but in governance,” Omidiji stressed further.
