Dr. Paul Akintelure, one of the governorship aspirants of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo State is dead.
The death of the medical doctor was confirmed by family sources.
He was said to have passed on in the early hours of Tuesday, during a brief illness in Lagos.
Recall Akintelure ran as the deputy governorship candidate of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) with the late Rotimi Akeredolu ( former Ondo State governor) against Olusegun Mimiko, the then Labour Party flagbearer, who won the election.
Also, the state Publicity Secretary of the party, Mr Alex Kalejaiye, confirmed the news of his death.
The details of the death were yet to be revealed.
“It is true, I can confirm it. We will issue a statement about it shortly.” the APC spokesperson said
