One Year After: Aregbesola Remembers Adeleke

Today Monday, 23rd April, 2018 makes it exactly one year when the former Senator Representing Osun West Senatorial District and the first Executive Governor of the State of Osun, Senator Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke passed on at the age of 62.

One year after, the incumbent Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola is extolling the virtues in the Late Ede born politician.

In a tweet on his official verified Twitter Handle @raufaregbesola on Monday, the Governor Wrote: Today marks one year that Osun lost one of its illustrious sons, first executive Governor of the State and an unrepentant progressive. Continue to rest in peace, Senator Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke.

The late Adeleke popularly called Serubawon became the first Governor of Osun and ruled from January 1992 – November 1993.
