Opeyemi Aiyeola, Eniola Badmus In War Of Words Over Hair Comment

Nollywood actresses, Opeyemi Aiyeola and Eniola Badmus, are currently at loggerheads following a comment made by the latter on social media which has been described as distasteful and insensitive.
The drama unfolded on Thursday after Badmus dropped a remark under one of Aiyeola’s Instagram videos, querying, “Ope, where is your front hair?”
The comment, which many considered derogatory, did not sit well with Aiyeola, who responded in a strongly worded video expressing deep disappointment and calling Badmus out for what she described as hypocritical behaviour.
Aiyeola, in her response, noted that it was shocking for someone like Badmus, who had previously been a victim of body shaming on social media, to now mock another person’s appearance.
“You, Eniola, who used to be an image of ridicule and body shaming, should understand the pain words like that carry,” she said.
“You have never promoted anything I do, never liked my posts, yet the only thing you could say publicly was to mock me. That’s not just disappointing, it’s ignorant.”
Taking a firmer stand, Aiyeola described Badmus as a “zombie without a conscience,” accusing her of lacking empathy despite holding Giuseppe Zanotti low top embossed croc-effect sneakers a political position and influence among the youth.
She added that Badmus’ comment was unnecessary, especially given that they share no close personal or professional relationship.
“You’ve only shown the world nike air force 1 07 black cool grey racer blue white who you really are. And for that, I pity you,” she stated.
Aiyeola, while appreciating fans who showed concern over her appearance, assured them that she remains confident and content.
“I am beautifully and wonderfully made. I don’t need your recommendations. I’m surrounded by people who love me as I am,” she said.
As at the time of filing this report, Eniola Badmus has yet to publicly respond to the allegations.
