Oriade/Obokun PDP Stakeholders Reject Wole Oke’s Claim, Reiterate Support For Adeleke

People Democratic Party (PDP) stakeholders in Oriade/ Obokun Federal Constituency have reiterated their support for the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State.

This was as they harped on the need for unity of purpose in the area to ensure total victory for the governor in the next governorship election in the state.

The stakeholders stated this during a solidarity rally, following allegations of neglect by the lawmaker representing Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency, Hon Wole Oke.

Osun Defender reports that Oke had during the weekend alleged Adeleke of neglecting the people of Ijesa North, unlike his predecessors.

But speaking at the solidarity rally held at the party secretariat in Osogbo, the state Commissioner for Environment and Sanitation, Mayowa Adejoorin, stressed the need for all party S
stakeholders to work has one, noting that the governor has done many things for the constituent.

Adejoorin who appreciated Adeleke on his infrastructural development projects within his two years in office, noted that the people of Oriade/ Obokun federal constituency would rally behind the governor come 2026.

In his remarks, the
Commissioner for Cooperatives Empowerment, Bayo Ogungbangbe, called for all members of the party to be united.

“In Oriade, Adeleke has repaired and renovated Apoti Community Grammar nike revolution 7 School, Apoti, All Saints’ Primary School, Dagbaja, and Ere Ijesa High School, Ere. Also, new blocks of classrooms were constructed at Surajudeen Primary School, Owena Ijesa, and community primary school, Kajola Adedeji.

“In Obokun, new blocks of classrooms were constructed at Methodist Primary School, Hare, while motorized deep wells were installed at St. Paul Primary School, Ilase, and Methodist Primary School, Iregun.

“Similarly, the PHCs in Ajedun, Imesi Ile, and Ilare have undergone significant upgrades and renovations while major road projects, including the construction of Odowo-Ayetoro Junction-Oja Tuntun nike ja 1 scratch-Igbajo/Imesi Ile Road and Oke Oye-Oke Ita Road with spurs to Ogodogbo and Temidire road have been done,” the commissioner said.
