The General Manager, Osun State Road Maintenance Agency, ORMA, Engr. Mathew Olu Olowookere has commended the former governor of the state of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola for his remarkable achievements in his eight years as governor.
He made this commendation in his Congratulatory message to the governor in Osogbo the state capital last Thursday.
Engr. Olowookere who described governor Aregbesola as somebody who has earned a reputation as one of the Nigeria’s best leaders noted his efforts in the transformation of the state in the area of maintenance and rehabilitation of roads all over the state.
The ORMA boss further described Mr Governor as a true leader that came and impacted positively on the life of the people throughout his stay in office.
He also emphasised that, the state has witnessed monumental, visible and enduring achievements in every sector of the economy in the last eight years, saying Mr. Governor had been able to keep faith with the people of Osun in dogged implementation of the six- point integral action plans of his administration.
Speaking further, the General Manager maintained that the various successful intervention programmes of the administration in agriculture, Road, education, health, job creation, peaceful communal co-existence, poverty banishment among others have impacted positively on the socio-economic transformation of the state.
“With his efforts, the ORMA has been able to reach out to the entire people in the state with it’s mandate which is maintenance and rehabilitation”.
